At Shafer Insurance Agency, Inc. we are committed to protecting your privacy.   • Information which we receive on applications or other forms (such as your name, address and date of birth);
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others;
  • Information which we receive from third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies

We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, about our customers or former customers to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. NOTIFICATION OF YOUR RIGHT TO OPT OUT OF CERTAIN DISCLOSURES

If you prefer that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than those disclosures that are expressly permitted by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its implementing regulations). If you wish to exercise your right to opt out of the information sharing described, you must send to the address below a letter in writing requesting that you do not wish for Shafer Insurance Agency, Inc. to share your nonpublic personal information with non-affiliated third parties for purposes other than those that are permitted by law.
